[LM_NET] Obama's speech

No other president in history has used schools to bring forth his message through 
media. Kennedy did have Presidential badges for physical fitness but did not use a 
"captive audience"  all of whom are minors-save a few seniors.  My mother tells me 
that high school kids watched Kennedy's funeral on t.v. Also, the horrifying events 
of 9/11 played on every television in my building the day it happened, but these 
events were not speeches.

My daughter's school sent voice mails to parents saying that is they did not want 
their children to see the speech, send a note to the school. It seems to me that 
students with notes will be seen in a negative way from their peers.

The best idea I've seen is to tape the speech and allow parents to borrow it-also 
Obama is very good at immediately sending everything to his website. I'm sure his 
speech will be all over the Internet in seconds.
