Greetings! We were given two of the Scholastic cash registers to use during our book fair. We are currently using one and plan on adding the other during our Family night activity. It is very convenient to use the scanner, however there are several steps to follow and so is slower than when we were using our cash register. No directions are included with how to run it. There are instructions and a tutorial on the Scholastic bookfair website. I finally printed them off, which has been very helpful. There is a scan sheet for prices for pencils, etc. which has been very useful. I can also print off daily reports and a list of the most bought items, which should help in reordering. Once we got the hang of using the new register and used to the different steps needed to complete each transaction, I feel that it is an improvement over the old registers we got from Scholastic. Hope this helps, Barbara Roberts Media Specialist Cherokee Ridge Elementary Chickamauga, GA bjsroberts@bellsouth.net -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
