[LM_NET] Share: Georgia Read More

Thought I'd share this with our out-of-state friends.  This wonderful project has 
been carried out over the past several years and has various Georgia-related 
celebrities reading books.  School libraries were given CD's with the videos on 
them of the celebrity reading the book and sets of READ posters.  The videos can be 
accessed through the Georgia Department of Education on-line at:

Thanks to Judy Serritella, the Coordinator for Library Media Services at the 
Georgia Department of Education for spearheading this great project.  
Unfortunately, apparently funding has ceased so these are probably all that will be 
done.  "Celebrities" include:  Jimmy Carter, Fred Newman, Leah Ward Sears, Kathy 
Cox, Mary Perdue, John Smoltz, Danny Schnitzlein, Travis Tritt, Bill Elliott, 
Carmen Deedy, Michael White, Dominique Wilkins, Keith Brooking, Dan Cathy, Chuck 
Leavell, Beheruz Sethna, Ashley Bryan, Michael Austin, Tony Crunk, Jeff Foxworthy, 
and John McCutcheon.
