I had a charming older woman, an alumnae of our elementary school, stop in to visit today. She told me about a story her school librarian read to her in the 1950s about a magical bridge. People would go over this bridge and then they'd shrink and have adventures as tiny people. That's all I know about it. She remembers this from 2nd grade. I'd love to be able to give her the name and author of the story, so if it rings a bell for anyone, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
