Hi all, I am working with our 7th grade history teachers on a mini-research unit for the Reneisance (sp?). They are going to research one of four famous people, looking at four sub-topics (Early life, accomplishments, haven't picked the other two yet). I would love to have them present their work in a project instead of a report; I've seen ideas on this before, but the only ones I can find right now are alternate book reports for English. I have had one thought so far; a collage where they have to use pictures that relate to the information they found and then on the back or on a separate paper they have to write why they choose that picture and how it is related to the information they found. I'm not sure if that would work? Any thoughts on this idea or any other ideas out there? I would love to hear them. (I will post a HIT.)
