We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
and all are different colors.... but
they all exist very nicely in the same box.

Subject: [LM_NET] HIT: Root Words

Original Post:

I have a teacher looking for websites that offer a root and examples of
words that contain the root. We have a few already, but one of them has
horrible ads hiding as content on the website. Any good ones out there?

Responses:

Have you tried espindle.org? It includes a brief definition of the example
terms.

A simple chart, easy to read, but the students would need to look up the
words if they're not familiar...

I believe vocabulary.com has root words. It's geared to all levels,
