[LM_NET] ELEM: Presidential Biographies

Hello Librarians of the Internet, 

My third grade teachers are going to be using biographies of presidents with their 
reading groups in February.  They have three reading group levels: 

They are planning to use the DK Biography series for the high group and the Grosset 
& Dunlap "Who Was..." series with the low group.  They looked at the Childhood of 
Famous Americans series for the middle group, but they didn't care for it- didn't 
like the writing.  I'm wondering if any of you could suggest another series of 
biographies of presidents for this middle level third grade group.
