Steven pretty much says what I think about this topic but I would like to add a few
thoughts.
Let us remember that the Newbery Award is for one book. Every Newbery isn't for
every child, it merely points to the excellence of this one book.
Please, please, please, if displaying and promoting Newbery Award books include the
Honor Books. Many times it is the honor books that will capture those hard to
please students. Off the top of my head...
