I've started posting my monthly library displays-- nothing earth-shattering other
than I don't spend any extra money on them. I use what I have on hand at the
school. Through the years I've collected stuff from family, friends, the side of
the road (& I used to get way too excited on garbage days-- you would not believe
what people throw away  around here! I'm in recovery now, though), and I just
recycle and re-use stuff. I just posted January's Chill with a Good Book display.

I picked up an IKEA loft bed someone was throwing away in my daughter's
neighborhood a couple of years ago, and that is what I design the window displays
around.

One of my favorites is from last year - an underwater scene in the loft bed:

Subject: January Bulletin Boards

I know several others will be hunting for something new for a bulletin board so I
though I'd share my January solution.
"Get your mitts on a good book" with book cover pictures glued onto large paper
mittens (love the Ellison die cutter).  In the elementary we did "Warm up with a
good book" with the same mitten idea.
We just borrowed a new set for the Ellison which has a bee and a hive---so this
spring I think I'll do "Get BZZZY with books" or "Buzz in for a sweet read".
