[LM_NET] Books for Student Birthdays

My principal came to me this afternoon to discuss a new project she would like to 
implement starting in September.  She would like each of our almost 900 students, 
grades 2-5, to receive a new book on his/her birthday.  Does anyone have a program 
like this in their school?  I'm not even sure where to start with this one, since I 
don't know where the funds will come from.  Any suggestions would be greatly 
appreciated.
