I believe I have this correct, but can someone correct me if I am wrong? Student wants to cite a diary entry which he found in a book of collected primary sources - letters, documents, journals - sort of a hodgepodge. There is no title to this diary entry. I have told him to do thus: Author. Diary entry. Editor. Title of the book and so on - the usual publication info. Is the first part correct? Calling it a diary entry and then going on as usual? It seems to be true according to my reading of MLA 7th ed. I have also referred him to the OWL website at Purdue. Just confirming I have told him the best info. Thanks, Becky Rebecca Endlich Librarian Edmonds-Woodway High School 7600 - 212th SW Edmonds WA 98026-7556 Phone 425-431-6127 http://school.edmonds.wednet.edu/ewhs/library/default.htm -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
