Good morning!

With budgets going the way they are I am pretty sure that I will not have
very much money - if any - for new books next year. I have been very lucky
the last 4 years to have enough money that I have been able to pretty much
rebuild our fiction section. (Which was in really bad shape when I started 4
years ago.)

I feel good about my fiction collection but for next year I am looking for
ways to promote it through book displays. Ways to keep reading exciting and
fun so the kids will keep reading even when I cannot buy many new books.

I have more and more students reading and checking out each year and don't
want to lose that momentum next school year.

My library is fairly small and of course money is not in the picture.

I would like to start putting this together now and through the summer so I
can come in excited next year when school starts and to get the kids excited
too. Any ideas that you guys have would be greatly appreciated. We are a
small rural, conservative school so some things would probably not work as
well here.

Thank you for your help!
