I am travelling with my church group this summer to an orphanage in Lima, Peru that serves 750 kids, from babies to young adults. They have recently built their own school, including a library. My job is to set up the library. They have a building, books and I assume some shelves. They do not have a computer or library furniture - like a card catalog. I need to organize and catalog the books and set up some kind of circ system I will have a translator to help me. I'm not sure how many books they have, but I will only have 5 days to do this. I know some of you brilliant people have ideas on how I can do this, and my guess is, a few of you have probably done something similar, so I would love to have your input. Thanks!
