Hi all-
I have a 7th grade teacher who would like to offer her students a list of books to
read over the summer. She would like books that would help them understand the
world a little better. The example I'm thinking of is Sherlock Holmes-so many
things we say came from that (but I'll be darned if I can think of a more specific
example...) Do you have any suggestions for 7-8th grade level (or higher, but not
TOO high) books that would be suitable for this purpose?

Thank you in advance!
