[LM_NET] SHARE: End of year funny

Our last day of school is this Friday and while our inventory is pretty much 
completed (as far as scanning goes), I'm working on rearranging my Easy 
books...something that I've put off for three years.  As we've added to the 
collection, when everything comes back in the books fille up the shelves and in 
some cases I've had to resort to placing books on top of the other books or even on 
tops of the bookcases.  I shifted my Professional books from two bookcases to one 
bookcase (tall bookcase) and my back issues of magazines to one bookcase...freeing 
up four shelves to place the books for the wee ones.  

When handling the books I've learned that I need to wear a dust mask to keep down 
my sinus infections that always seemed to hit during inventory time.  Kids 
generally comment on the mask and why I'm wearing it...but today a little 1st 
grader asked me...

"Mr. Pope, when you were little did you know you were going to create a library?"  
I laughed and told him I was actually trying to arrange the books and that someone 
else had "created" our library years ago.  He laughed and said, "Uh uh, you did!" 
and still laughing walked on down the hallway to busroom!  I needed a laugh.  
Rearranging these Easy books has been a 3 day process...something I started on 
Friday working from the Z's backward.  So far, I have only made it to the H's and 
even worked late until 5:30pm to get that far.  If I had doors and could close off 
the library and not be interrupted to help move things or meetings or awards 
programs...I might be finished...ha..  But I have high hopes to finish on Wednesday.
