[LM_NET] TAR: Penpal Services for HS Class

I am hoping to get my small-town students involved in a penpal type service
where they can learn about students their same age from different parts of
the world. It seems like there are a ton of websites devoted to such. Has
anyone had good results with any one particular site? I, of course, would
like the service to be free. My primary goal is increasing my high school
students' awarness of the world and the diverse cultures throughout it.
