Dear Netters, I had a former student ask for help identifying some books he read while in fourth to sixth grades in the middle 1950's. The books were a set of three to four fiction books about World War Two. He said they were very descriptive with vivid details of the planes and battles. He is also looking for a Texas history book from the same time period written in cartoon style. He said this book was banned for it's portrayal of the Mexican people. I would appreciate you helping me locating these books. Thanks so much.
