Dear Ruth Ann, I'm not familiar with the WWII books you mention, but the comic is one I know well. The modern, non-racist version is call the 'New Texas History Movies'. You can order it from Amazon for $9.95. Here's the link for it from Amazon.com (if you purchase it through this link, I'll get credit for it.) : http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&keywords=texas%20history%20movies&tag=virtlearresoc-20&index=books&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325 Sincerely, Michael Bell Former Chair, Texas Association of School Librarians drmichaelbell@hotmail.com Retired school and university librarian webmaster at http://www.virtuallrc.com webmaster at http://www.infotopia.info webmaster at http://www.virtuallrc.com/magbot webmaster at http://www.virtuallrc.com/alphamarks webmaster at http://www.academicindex.net > Dear Netters, > I had a former student ask for help identifying some books he read while > in fourth to sixth grades in the middle 1950's.
