Thanks to Madeline for the reminder of Dr. King. Here is a question:

What are LM_NET librarians doing in their schools and librarians to
celebrate Dr. King's birthday/holiday?

Here at P.V. High we are doing displays, bulletin boards, bibliographies,
and will cap it all with the Third Annual Dr. Martin Luther King
Commemorative Address, given in the library, and reported-on through the
school bulletin and local media. Our speaker each year is an
African-American person who is a leader in some aspect of our community,
and they give an address of their choosing, inspired by their vision of
Dr. King.

This has been a well-attended series in the past two years. Classes
must sign-up in advance. We have room for only three classes in the
library, but it has an impact on the entire school, especially since it is
a kickoff for our celebration of Black History Month, in February.
