We too run on a Novell network. In addition, we utilize IBM's ICLAS program which enables Username access or sub-menu access to different software. Currently in addition to accessing the Mandarin system we can also dialout to the Nassau School Library System's Regional Database. I'm assuming that should we add CD-ROMS to the network this would be doable. One caution, I recommend access through Usernames and Passwords rather than sub-menus. The sub-menus on ICLAS enable access to such things as network printer control and change of passwords. That is on our version of ICLAS. Perhaps a newer version prevents that from happening. -- ========================================================================= | "A Puppy's Lament" Rita Kaikow, Library Media Specialist | The world is so big Oceanside High School Library | And I am so small... 3160 Skillman Avenue | Without you beside me Oceanside, NY 11572 | I won't make it at all.
