?Multicultural Mothers Day Books

Dear LM_Net Colleagues,

Your fame is growing among the staff at my school!  I just received this
request for you from a wonderful second grade teacher.

"I just checked my neighborhood library for Mother's Day books. None of
the books have an African American mom, or any other mother of color.
Perhaps there are some under another category. Can you check with your
librian friends for titles of mother's day books that also include women
of color. "

Do you know of good titles that  feature  a mother of color, with the focus
on the mother or mother/child relationship? (Or the holiday Mother's Day?).
