HUMOR: First graders

First grade teacher:" Listen class, you are in first
grade. So, no more babytalk. We will talk like
grownups. OK, What did you do this summer?

Stephanie(first grader): We visited my 'nana'...

Teacher:" 'Nana' is babytalk.  We will say
'grandmother', Ok? " Who else would like tell the
class what you did this summer?"

Barbara(first grade student): "I went to the zoo and
rode in a'CHOO CHOO'."

Teacher: "No, Barbara.  Remember. Talk like grownups
do. You rode in a 'TRAIN', not a choo choo."
"Now, Tommy, what did you do this summer?
And,Remember  no more babytalk.  Talk like grownups
do."

Tommy(lst grade student): "I went to the library and I
read a book."

Teacher:"Very Good, Tommy, what was the name of the
book? And,remember no more babytalk."

Tommy: OK. The name of the book was WINNIE THE SH__.!
