I agree. I was in high school when President Kennedy was assasinated. The school did a news lock down and all we had were rumors. My parents had listened all day, and didn't want to hear more, so I was left even more in the dark. I am glad to see that some school did allow the students to know about the events and to have the teachers at hand for discussion and support.
