computer labs

We may be adding computer labs to our elementary schools.  There is a
debate going on as to whether or not the library media specialists should
be in charge of the computer labs.  We would like to hear from some of
you on this issue.  How are your computer labs staffed?  What types of
activites or uses are made of the labs?  If a library media specialist is
in charge how much time are you spending in the lab?  What are the pros
and cons of having the library media specialsit surpervise computer labs?
