Lamination vs. Bookcovers. Which is best? Well, here are the
compiled results of my "survey". I decided to keep getting
bookcovers, but laminate for unusually shaped materials.

Pluses

Cheaper
Fits tightly
You can laminate torn covers "together"
Quality Appearance
Laminate odd size books
"Have done it 10 years"
"Have laminated 4-6 years"
Holds up

Minuses

Peels away (a number of people said this)
Very stiff
Doesn't fold well, has to be creased (too thick)
Pops off books because of stiffness
"Puffiness" of cover causes "drag" on shelves when removing books
Instead of a torn plastic cover, the whole thing is torn--you
        can't replace publisher's covers!
Can be more expensive, depending on who pays
