St. Charles Community Unit School District 303 anticipates having two media
specialist openings for the 94-95 School Year.
One at Haines Middle School (6-8) 980 students
One at Wasco Elementary (K-5)
 Both positions are available due to the professional advancement of the
current media specialists. Both had ALA MLS degrees. Teaching experience at
the appropriate level also highly desireable. MA salary with no experience
would be in the low 30s.

The district serves about 9,000 students in the (very) far western Chicago
suburbs. The district has 1 9-12 HS (c.3000 students), 2 middle schools 6-8 (
a third middle school to open in Aug. 95 that position will be filled
mid-year 94-95) and 9 elementary K-5 schools. The district has a director of
media services and a technology coordinator. Each building has a full time
LMS, the HS having 2.5. The middle schools each have two aides. The
elementaries have a single aide (P.T.)
