I agree with you totally. Our district has not adopted a textbook series
in several years, but has NOT correspondingly upped the funding for
library resources to make up for it. That is one message I continue to
bombard the administration with -- how do you expect teachers to find the
factual information for the science units if they don't have a current
text, AND if there aren't enough current books, disks, etc., in the
library!!! [No answer so far, but I'll keep asking the question!]
