I agree totally. The best way to ensure a full-time library media
specialist position is to expand your roles to the point where you are
indespensible TO THE PRINCIPAL !!! (And/or to the teachers, if they hold
the reins in the school). Clerical workers are a dime a dozen -- but a
technology/teacher/fund-raiser?
