Information Literacy for Teachers

I have been teaching the Big 6 in a pre-professional class for library
media specialists,in a basic reference class, and in a continuing education
workshop for school library media specialists and teachers. Students have
provided feedback that the Big 6 model is applicable in all types of
information problem solving situations and that they have been successful
teaching the Big 6 to students and teachers. It provides a very flexible
framework.
