POSITION OPENING
Library Coordinator, Electronic Reference Services. The San Mateo County
Office of Education, an educational service agency serving 24 school
districts in San Mateo, California, is seeking a Library Coordinator to
provide leadership and training in current and emerging library
technologies for the library staff and for the school districts.
Requires B.A. degree and graduate level courses in Library Science,
including online cataloging, collection development, computers and
networking, plus three years of professional library experience that has
included supervising library services staff. Must have strong background
in library technologies including application of CD ROM, online
databases, telecommunications resources and integrated automation
systems; outstanding presentation and staff development skills. Salary:
$44,964-$56,232, plus benefit package. Note: San Mateo County is
located in the San Francisco Bay Area, 20 miles south of San Francisco.
