Target--> Library Media Advisory Committee

I am preparing to form a Library Media Advisory Committee using the
guidelines from Information Power.  I would appreciate any ideas from library
media specialists who have recently established such groups.  Some of my
questions include:

1.  What types of people serve on the committee?

2.  What are the responsibilities of the committee as a whole?

3.  What are the duties and responsibilities of individual committee members?

4.  What pointers can you give me to make this committee a success?
