The following is from the Baltimore City Public Schools library media curriculum by K. Gary Ambridge that may be of some use. COMPETENCY: LM:VIII.3 Demonstrate the principles of intellectual freedom. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE: LM:VIII.3.0.1 Define intellectual freedom. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: LM:3.0.1.1 Describe aspects of intellectual freedom. LM:3.0.1.2 Develop personal criteria to judge concepts found in media. LM:3.0.1.3 List the concepts found in the Library Bill of Rights. LM:3.0.1.4 Analyze literature that communicates aspects intellectual freedom. LM:3.0.1.5 Compare and contrast literature that expresses aspects of intellectual freedom. LM:3.0.1.6 Analyze the roll that the Library Bill of Rights has in promoting intellectual freedom. LM:3.0.1.7 List the thinking steps used to arrive at a definition of intellectual freedom.
