Do you think kids realy plagarize more with electronic resources? I think they always did it. I have always seen stuff straight out of the encyclopedia or straight from a magazine or book. As far as lack of ethics - I think they see their job as getting through school the best way they can. Our job is to see that they do it ethically and at the same time teach some ethics. I didn't copy because I was a good writer, but I made up lots of sources and I cheated when I thought I needed to. I can't imagine doing that now. Just think back to how you were as a kid. I know not everyone was the little anarchist I was, but the only reason I ever conformed was because I was afraid I'd get caught and get in big trouble.
