Ratio specialists to students

    We are media specialists in a high school that is growing very
quickly.  At the present time we have over 2,600 students with the
expectation that we will reach 3,000 in a few years.  However, we still
have the same amount of staff in the media center that we had when we had
1,500 students (2 professionals and 2 aides.)  Our questions is this: if
you are in a high school with over 2,500 students, how many professionals
and aides do you have in the media center?  We need some ammunition to
help our case for needing more staff.

     Any commemts would be greatly appreciated.  We'll post a summary of
