I have been quietly waiting for Peter Milbury's Netiquette tip of the
day.  The sys admins, when setting up LM_NET, designed if for
professional discussion.  Others have indicated that there are listservs
primarily for pen-pals and classroom projects.  In her book, The Way of
the Ferret, Judi Harris lists many of those addresses.  Here are two:
KIDSPHERE (Global network for K-12 children and teachers).  Subscribe to
KIDSPHERE@vms.cis.pitt.edu       Also KIDS (The kids' part of
KIDSPHERE).  Subscribe to KIDS@pittvms.bitnet
