TECH: Barcoding CD ROMs

   Thanks to those people who responded to my Syquest drive
question.  Just a quickie question from one of our computer
 teachers.  Is it safe to place a barcode directly on a CD ROM.
Our libraries have not started cataloging software yet but I suspect that is
something that should be started very soon.
