SEC: Student Discussion Groups

I am meeting with the students at our high school that have e-mail
addresses.  I would like for them to branch out into discussion
groups that are broader in range than the statewide group that they
participated in last year.  So much of what I have read about for
students seems to have an upper limit of age 15.  My students are 15-
18 years of age.  Is there anything you can recommend?  Please share.
