I  will begin to spend my book money on Goosebumps and R.L.Stine when
quality literature is non-existent (or when cows fly), whichever comes
first.  I feel as an elem. media specialist and responsible parent/adult
I have the responsibilty to present quality literature to my students and
spend hard-earned taxpayer dollars wisely.  Our PTA sponsors 2 bookfairs
a year, one of which is half-price.  Every child has the chance to
purchase at least one book, even without money.
P.S. I also don't buy Babysitters, Ninjas, etc.
