Cathy--Betty Hamilton had a very intersting solution to the mail
problem.  (That is, the problem of mail being somehow "disappeared" from
your box before you ever get it.)  She said that at her school the mail
is first delivered to the LMC.  She takes her mail out, then sends it on
to the secretary for distribution to the rest of the school.  Sounds good
to me, if lifting of mail from the LMS's box is a problem.
