I had a problem with stolen mail at my school also, particularly Sports
Illustrated, Jet, and People magazine. I solved my problem by renting a
medium size post office box. Since last fall I have received every issue.
The $40 that I pay a year for the box is well worth it!
The biggest problem that I have is picking up mail during the summer and
on Christmas vacation (I live 30 min. from my school) Fortunately
teachers who live close to the post office have picked up the mail for me
during the holidays and the summer.
It has even proven to be a good PR move. Now when teachers want
something mailed to a "secure" location they use the libraries p.o. box.
