I deleted the address of the person who originally posted the
request for good books for a high school women's studies class, but I
must add this one to the list. _Anonymous Was a Woman_ is one of the
best books I've read on the subject. Sorry I don't have the author or
publisher here at school--this is my own book. I found it at a quilt
show. It talks about the restraints put on women who wanted some
artistic expression outside the home.
