Technology Staff Development

Dear Colleagues,

As chairman of our school's Technology Committee, I am always on the
lookout for technology staff development ideas.  Yesterday I received a
brochure from Technology & Learning that advertises their Professional
Development Institute.  They offer two courses entitled "Tapping the Power
of Today's Technology" and "What Every Teacher Needs to Know About
Technology".  Schools can register seminar groups of 3 or more participants
and continuing education units can be earned.  My question is:  Have any of
you ever enrolled in one of these courses, or have any of your schools
registered a group of teachers?  I would appreciate any feedback anyone
could give.  This could be an excellent way to learn or a big waste of
money.
