pronunciation: Lady Bugatti (Maxner)

Dear Fellow Elementary Library Media Specialist,
        My assitant principal is
preparing for a read-aloud day in her
daughter's school and has selected her daughter's favorite, Lady
Bugatti by Joyce Maxner.  The question: is Bugatti pronounced to rhyme
with Flutterby and I? Or is the preferred pronunciation Bug-a-tee?
