Florida LM_Net Breakfast

Yes, Floridians....there will be a Florida LM_NET Breakfast during the
Florida Educational Technology Conference.  Almost immediately after posing
the question last month I had overwhelming response from school media
specialists from Florida and beyond AND a wonderful offer from a sponsor!
SIRS (of Florida, of course!!) has offered to be our host.  Please thank
YOUR SIRS rep when you see him/her.  I'm still waiting for a confirmation
from the conference organizers about the day, time and room...so stay
tuned.  If you'd like to be sure you don't miss it, please e-mail me (IF
YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY) and I'll file your name away for when I know more.
I also had nice notes from others who have organized and attended other
LM_NET breakfasts.  Love the NET!

If you haven't registered for the conference, there is time.  For a
brochure, e-mail Ann Tebo at TEBOA@mail.firn.edu.  The conference begins on
Saturday March 4, with pre-conferene workshops the days before AS WELL as
the Florida Adaptive Technologies Impact Conference (great for ALL
educators who have any exceptional students--and who doesn't?)
Registration is expected to reach 15,000 and, let's face it, Orlando is NOT
a bad place to be in March!
