I consider sending greetings as one of the nice "things" we do to make
this list a community of people.  I keep an ASCII file on my hard drive
for immediate upload when requested.  It requires a few keystrokes and
gives me a great deal of pleasure to let those far from Rhode Island know
what makes my state distinctive.
