 LM_NETTERS:  Here are the answers I received regarding author's
addresses on the Internet.  Many thanks to all who contributed!

I do not know his Internet address, however Robert Cormier, author of The
Chocolate War lives in Connecticut and his phone # is in the book and he
really answers his calls.

I have not found any lists of authors on line, but did have a
nice surprise when I looked in the usenet rec.arts.books.childrens
and found that Jane Yolen seems to be an active part of that particular
bulletin board.  You might try checking into there and making your request.
Jane Yolen, or perhaps other authors might be lurking there.

I bought my copy at a Waldens Bookstore in the mall for 7.95.  It has
addresses of authors, academics, celebrities, CEOs, computer visionaries,
editors & publishers, philosophers, physicists, programmers, reporters,
television stations, etc.  It's interesting and occasionally useful.
