Elem: Literacy Connection

If anyone out there knows anything about a program called Literacy
Connection, I would appreciate any and all info.  From what I understand
it incorpates whole language and the basic skills (ex. phonics).  One of
our teachers was also interested in the program Writing to Read. Any
information would be very helpful.  If any of you know who publishes
these program that would be helpful
