?Book bags and Subs

Dear Netters,
Please send answers directly to me, I am on no mail because phone # is
changing and I will be in/out of town... I am in middle school.
Do you allow book bags, what happens if something gets stolen from a bag
that is left at the entrance? This happened and now the parent is
insisting all children be allowed to lug the huge bags everywhere--a man
who was a teacher mind you, and now is an AP.
Second, do you allow subs to bring classes to the media center? Our subs
are chosen at random by computer so I never know who will be with a class
or if they have ever been to our school before.
