Sandy Grffith asked about the problem of having items stolen from
bookbags left outside the library:

        We have students leave bookbags in the hall.  The issue of
something being stolen from a bookbag, which could happen at any time,
brings up the question of what kinds of things kids are bringing to
school.  Some are of significant monetary value and represent a serious
temptation to fellow students.
