Dear Joan,
Here's another one.  We suscribe to parts of the service offered by Jr.
Literary Guild (a subscription service which sends out a nice selection
of the newest books with 2-3 arriving every other month.)  This year they
finally decided to offer Marc records,
and we decided to give them a try.  Well, they finally arrived and guess
what?  The sent the records and bar codes for the whole year's
subscription!  So, of
course, we had to load the whole mess into the computer to get the
records for the four books that had arrived so far.  I had to make a
patron bar code for Jr. Literary Guild and sign out to them the books
that hadn't arrived yet!  Just wait till they get my overdue notice!!!
